TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website break-thelines.com and purchases made through the breakTHElines online store.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

1. ABOUT US

The online store is operated by:

breakTHElines
Športno izobraževanje in svetovanje, Rok Baskera s.p.
Nazorjeva ulica 15
3000 Celje
Slovenia

Email: info@break-thelines.com
Website: break-thelines.com

Throughout these Terms, “breakTHElines”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business identified above.

2. ONLINE STORE

Our website provides information about breakTHElines and enables customers to purchase products through our online store.

The online store operates using WooCommerce and related technical services.

You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not intentionally interfere with the operation or security of the website, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access to our systems or use the website in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

3. PRODUCTS

We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information about products offered through our online store.

However, minor differences may occur between the way a product appears on a screen and the physical product, including differences in colour caused by screen settings, lighting or photography.

Product measurements may also be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances where applicable.

Images are provided for illustrative purposes unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

  • update product descriptions;
  • change products or product specifications;
  • discontinue products;
  • limit quantities available;
  • introduce new products.

Such changes will not affect orders that have already been concluded except where permitted or required by law.

4. AVAILABILITY

Products may be available in limited quantities.

Adding a product to your cart does not reserve the product.

An order is subject to product availability until the order has been accepted.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and, where applicable, refund any amount already paid for that unavailable product.

5. PRICES

Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency indicated on the online store.

The applicable product price is generally the price displayed at the time the order is placed.

Shipping costs and any other applicable charges will be shown before the customer completes the purchase.

We reserve the right to change prices for future purchases at any time.

Price changes do not affect an order that has already been accepted, except in cases of an obvious pricing error where applicable law allows correction.

6. ORDERS AND CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT

When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

Before submitting the order, you will have the opportunity to review the products selected and information provided during checkout.

After an order is submitted, you may receive an automatic confirmation that the order has been received.

Where applicable, the sales contract is concluded when we accept the order in accordance with the checkout process and applicable law.

We may refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • information provided with the order is incomplete or clearly incorrect;
  • there is an obvious pricing or technical error;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
  • fulfilment of the order would violate applicable law.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.

7. CUSTOMER INFORMATION

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when placing an order.

This includes, where applicable:

  • your name;
  • email address;
  • billing information;
  • delivery address;
  • telephone number;
  • other information necessary to process the order.

Please check your information carefully before submitting your order.

If you become aware of an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@break-thelines.com.

We cannot guarantee that delivery information can be changed once an order has already been dispatched.

8. PAYMENT

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers.

The relevant payment provider may apply its own terms and privacy practices.

An order may not be processed or dispatched until the required payment has been successfully authorised or completed.

We do not intentionally store complete payment card details where these are processed directly by an external payment service provider.

9. DELIVERY

Information about shipping methods, estimated delivery times, shipping charges and international customs is provided in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods ordered by consumers must be delivered within the period required by applicable law.

Under EU consumer rules, where no other delivery time has been agreed, goods should generally be delivered within 30 days of conclusion of the contract.

Delivery estimates shown on our website are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. RISK DURING DELIVERY

Where breakTHElines arranges delivery to a consumer, responsibility for the goods generally remains with us until the goods are received by you or by a third party designated by you, subject to applicable law.

If an order arranged by us is lost during delivery, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate solution.

EU consumer guidance confirms that where the seller organised delivery, the seller remains responsible if the goods are lost before reaching the customer.

11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers purchasing through our online store generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason, subject to legal exceptions.

The procedure for exercising this right, returning goods and receiving refunds is described in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms reduces your statutory right of withdrawal where it applies.

12. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods that are made according to the customer’s specifications or are clearly personalised, where the relevant legal exception applies.

If such an exception applies to a product, relevant information will be provided where required before purchase.

This does not affect your rights if a personalised product is defective, damaged or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

13. SALE AND DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS

A sale price, promotion or discount code does not by itself remove statutory consumer rights.

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, eligible discounted products may be returned in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Any refund is based on the amount actually paid for the product, subject to applicable law.

14. CONFORMITY OF GOODS AND LEGAL GUARANTEE

Products supplied to consumers must conform to the sales contract and applicable consumer protection law.

If a product is defective, damaged, does not correspond to its description or otherwise does not conform to the contract, you may have statutory rights to remedies.

Under EU rules, consumers have at least a two-year legal guarantee for new goods. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

The legal guarantee is separate from any additional voluntary commercial guarantee that may be offered.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

15. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Returns, statutory withdrawals, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Where you exercise the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, you may generally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods if you were informed of this in advance.

For defective or non-conforming goods, remedies must be provided without cost to the consumer where required by applicable law.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the breakTHElines website, including:

  • brand names;
  • logos;
  • graphics;
  • product designs;
  • photographs;
  • illustrations;
  • videos;
  • text;
  • website content;
  • other original materials,

is owned by breakTHElines or used with appropriate permission and may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

You may view the website and use its content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, modify or commercially exploit our protected content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

17. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNICATIONS

If you voluntarily send us photographs, reviews, feedback or other content, you remain responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide that material.

Providing content to us does not automatically grant breakTHElines unlimited ownership or commercial rights over that content.

If we wish to use customer-created content for advertising, marketing or other promotional purposes beyond what is reasonably necessary to respond to or display a submitted review, we may request appropriate permission where required.

We reserve the right to remove content from our own website that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringes third-party rights or otherwise violates these Terms.

18. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services operated by third parties, including payment, shipping or social media services.

We do not control independent third-party websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

19. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may temporarily suspend or modify parts of the website for:

  • maintenance;
  • technical updates;
  • security reasons;
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where possible, we aim to minimise disruption.

20. ERRORS AND TECHNICAL MISTAKES

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, prices, availability and other information on our website are accurate.

Occasionally, obvious technical, typographical or pricing errors may occur.

Where an obvious error affects an order, we may contact you to correct the error or cancel the affected order where legally permitted.

If payment has already been received for an order that is lawfully cancelled, the relevant amount will be refunded.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

In particular, nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under consumer protection legislation.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, breakTHElines is not responsible for losses that:

  • were not reasonably foreseeable;
  • result from circumstances outside our reasonable control;
  • arise from misuse of a product contrary to its intended use or instructions;
  • relate to commercial or business use where the customer is acting outside the scope of consumer protection law.

We do not seek to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, intentional misconduct or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. PROPER USE OF PRODUCTS

Products should be used for their intended purpose and, where provided, in accordance with product instructions, warnings or care information.

Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate product and size for their intended use.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper washing or care, modification of a product, or damage caused by use contrary to instructions may not constitute a product defect.

This does not affect statutory rights where a product is defective or does not conform to the contract.

23. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected through our website and online store is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains:

  • what personal data we collect;
  • why we process it;
  • who it may be shared with;
  • how long it may be retained;
  • your rights under GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

24. PROHIBITED USE

You must not use our website:

  • for unlawful purposes;
  • to infringe intellectual property or other rights;
  • to distribute malicious software;
  • to attempt unauthorised access to our systems;
  • to interfere with website security or functionality;
  • to obtain personal information about other users unlawfully;
  • to engage in fraudulent activity.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our legal rights.

25. FORCE MAJEURE

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as:

  • natural disasters;
  • severe weather;
  • transport disruption;
  • strikes;
  • war or civil disturbance;
  • government measures;
  • telecommunications failures;
  • widespread technical failures.

This provision does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • applicable law;
  • our business;
  • our website;
  • our products;
  • our technical systems.

The current version will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.

Changes will not normally apply retroactively to contracts already concluded unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

27. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

28. GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Slovenia, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under applicable law.

29. DISPUTES

If you have a complaint regarding an order or product, please contact us first at:

info@break-thelines.com

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints directly with customers.

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to seek remedies through competent courts, authorities or consumer dispute resolution mechanisms available under applicable law.
